How we collect and use personal information on behalf of our customers


The following are some examples of the personal information we may collect and analyze to provide the Services to our customers.


In the course of providing the Services to our customers, we may process limited personal information about our customers’ clients, personnel, or other authorized users of the Services as set out below. 


Register for an account:  In order to use our Services you will need to create an account. We will collect certain personal information, such as your name, email address, mailing address, company name, telephone number username and password in order to administer your account. We strongly recommend that you do not disclose your password to anyone. We will never ask you for your password in any unsolicited communication (such as letters, phone calls or email messages). If you become aware of any unauthorized access to or use of your account, you are required to notify us immediately.


If you terminate your account, any public activity on your account prior to deletion may remain stored on our servers and may remain accessible to the public



Support services: We may collect certain information from you (such as name, email address, your phone number, and query) when we provide user support services by phone or email. 


Use of the Services: We may monitor use of the Services by our customers’ personnel or other authorized users in order to detect, investigate, or prevent actual or potential violations of our terms and conditions. This information is automatically collected from you when you use the Services. 


In addition, we will also collect information about our customers’ personnel or other authorized users’ engagement with and utilization of our Services, such as processor and memory usage, storage capacity, navigation of our Services, and system-level metrics. We use this data to operate the Services, maintain and improve the performance and utilization of the Services, develop new features, protect the security and safety of our Services and our customers, and provide customer support. We also use this data to develop aggregate analysis and business intelligence that enable us to operate, protect, make informed decisions, and report on the performance of our business.


If our Services are linked to a third-party account, we will receive information about that account, such as the authentication token from the third-party account, to authorize linking. If you wish to limit the information available to us, you should visit the privacy settings of your third-party accounts to learn about your options.


We require our customers to ensure that they have obtained all authority to provide personal information to us in accordance with applicable privacy laws and to not provide us with any sensitive personal information. Except as set out herein, we do not collect or use personal information from our customers for any purpose other than to provide Services on behalf of our customers. 


If you have any questions regarding the personal information we process on behalf of one of our customers, we encourage you to first contact the customer directly and/or review their applicable privacy policy.  Our contracts with particular customers may require us to limit our use and disclosure of such personal information to a narrower set of activities than those described in this Privacy Policy, and they establish the customer as responsible for the processing and for responding to questions and requests regarding the personal information.

Subscribe to receive marketing communications: If you sign up to receive email marketing communications, we will collect your email address in order to send you newsletters, offers and promotions. You can unsubscribe to certain types of emails at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link included at the bottom of each email. Apply for a role with us: In connection with a job application or related inquiry, you may provide us with certain personal information about yourself (such as that contained in a resume, cover letter, or similar employment-related materials). Complete a survey: From time to time, we may offer you the opportunity to participate in one of our surveys. The information obtained through our surveys is used in an aggregated, de-identified form. We use this information to help us understand our users and to enhance our Website.

Request a free trial: When you request a free trial on our Website, we will collect your first and last name, email address, company name, telephone number and other information in order to schedule the trial.

Denvr does not disclose your personal information to third parties without your consent, except as described below or as required or permitted by applicable law.


Vendors and Service Providers: Your personal information may be transferred (or otherwise made available) to third parties that provide services to us or on our behalf. We use vendors and service providers to provide or receive services such as hosting the Website, processing payments and providing advertising and marketing services. Our vendors and service providers may be located outside of the province or state in which you reside (which may include transfer outside of Quebec for Quebec residents) such as the U.S., Canada, or other foreign jurisdictions.


Legal and Compliance: We and our Canadian, U.S., and other foreign vendors and service providers may disclose your personal information in response to a search warrant or other legally valid inquiry or order, or to another organization for the purposes of investigating a breach of an agreement or contravention of law or detecting, suppressing or preventing fraud, or as otherwise may be required or permitted by applicable Canadian, U.S. or other law or legal process, which may include lawful access by U.S. or foreign courts, law enforcement or other government authorities. Visiting our Website: In general, you can visit our Website without telling us who you are or submitting any personal information. However, we collect the IP (Internet protocol) addresses of all visitors to our Website and other related information such as page requests, browser type, operating system and average time spent on our Website. We use this information to help us understand our Website activity and to monitor and improve our Website.


Cookies:  Our Website uses a technology called "cookies". A cookie is a tiny element of data that our Website sends to a user’s browser, which may then be stored on the user’s hard drive or other local storage so that we or our vendors or service providers can recognize the user’s computer or device when they return. We have implemented various administrative, technical and physical measures in an effort to safeguard the personal information in our custody and control against theft, loss and unauthorized access, use, modification and disclosure.
